A young ex gang member named Diego, gets called to take part in a murder though he has made it clear he no longer want to engage in gang activity. Emily requests to be Diego's lawyer and work to prove that he is innocent, but the prosecution carries out questionable acts that make proving Diego's innocents difficult. The prosecution puts a microphone in Emily and Diegos meeting room and arrest the gang members who carried out the murder. Meanwhile, Lola travels too D.C. to help her husband land his dream job though it is across the country. Marc and Vic's relationship takes possible steps back as the murder weapon is found in his home and Marc loses faith. Luke and Emily don't see eye to eye about bugs in the courthouse, but Lemily is still in full swing.
