The Tennessee Titans are now 0-5, and it's time to start asking some serious questions. Is it time to bench Cam Ward? Is the quarterback really the biggest problem, or is he just one piece of a much larger disaster?
On this mid-week check-in of Bleav in Titans, we're starting the process of elimination to figure out what's gone wrong with this franchise and, more importantly, what needs to change. From Cam Ward's struggles to the coaching staff and front office, there are plenty of issues to examine — and no more excuses.
We'll also look back at a moment that feels a million miles away from today's frustration: the infamous 2022 NFL Draft Night trade that sent A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles. Was that the moment the Titans' downward spiral truly began? We'll trace the connection between that decision and the state of the franchise today.
Then it's time for From The Vault, featuring one of the most memorable nights in Titans history: the 2008 Monday Night Football victory over the Indianapolis Colts known as the “Code Blue” game. I'll share personal memories of that special night that continued through an unforgettable 2008 season.
On this episode:
- Is it time for the Titans to bench Cam Ward?
- Is Cam Ward the problem, or is the problem bigger than the quarterback?
- Starting the process of elimination to identify what's broken
