In the early aughts, Animation Magazine ran an annual feature called the Pitch Party -- a contest where eager readers could spend $300 to submit a postage-stamp sized jpg pitching their dream cartoon in the hopes that some animation executive might see some potential in their idea and make all their Hollywood dreams come true. How many cartoons were created through the Pitch Party? A whopping zero! But we look at the 2004 entries and rate them according to our own esoteric criteria.
