Halloween Month and a 1/2: Ep 3 The Babadook

So, it appears we're now dissecting "elevated horror" on CITIZEN FRAME's "Hallowe'en Month and a Half"!

In THE BABADOOK (2014), some deeply irritating kid reads from a storybook that features a monster-man that looks like Lon Chaney in LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT, said monster-man soon coming to life to haunt the boy and his mother. Then the mother has bad dreams and pleasures herself because she's sexually frustrated or something, before trying to kill her son (who could blame her?!), but it's all okay because the kid turns into Rambo and then THE EXORCIST is referenced.
