The Humboldt Legacy Project, an initiative of Humboldt Grace, is a community-driven effort to preserve and document California's legacy cannabis genetics, culture, and history. It brings together legacy cultivators, breeders, scientists, researchers, and advocates to protect cannabis heritage through DNA authentication, provenance research, oral histories, education, and ethical stewardship. The project also explores ways to recognize and protect the intellectual property and cultural contributions of legacy cannabis communities while ensuring their knowledge is preserved for future generations.
