AI is front and center in so many conversations these days. However, we tend to focus on the processing element when it comes to AI. While that element is vital to the growth of AI, there’s another area just as important and somewhat under the radar. And that’s power. We need a way to efficiently power these huge processing elements. 

To try and move the needle of the power front, I spoke to Nick Comfoltey, the Vice President of Home & Industrial IoT End Markets at GlobalFoundries on this week’s Embedded Executives podcast. Nick has a great understanding of why power doesn’t get the share of the spotlight that it deserves, and more importantly, what needs to happen to ensure that sufficient power is delivered.
