This week, we’re talking with Dr. Eukene Franco Landa about her language of Basque. Eukene is a Ph.D. in Linguistic Studies at the University of Miami. She is an advocate of minority languages and cultures. Her work focuses on the language variation in young Basque speakers and ethnolinguistic identities and attitudes towards Basque, both in the Basque Country and the Basque diaspora of Idaho.
