Liz Van Dorn & Maura Weaver (AKA The Potty Ladies) are Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) who practice Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Between the 2 of them, they have 4 kids under the age of 5 (and another on the way!). Through years of experience in the field of ABA and tackling potty training in-person with families, they saw a need for evidence-based information and family support in the area of potty training more broadly (as well as further dissemination of the science of ABA). Using their passion for and expertise about potty training, they created The Potty Ladies with the hope of reaching families not just in their area- but anywhere! They both reside in Huntsville, AL and co-own an ABA company called Footsteps of Change, Inc. where they work with local school districts & families to provide parent training, in-home therapy, and school consultation services.
