Breaking down Barriers to inclusion with Matthew Turnock

This week on Aquí Que Pasa, the hosts talk to disability rights advocate, Matthew Turnock. The hosts ask him what the state of play is in terms of disability issues as things stand. He suggests a number of policies and initiatives that could improve life for disabled persons with regards to employment and civil rights. The recent “revolution in education,” and what that may mean for disabled students, also gets a mention. Matthew recognizes that accessibility and the provision of ramps has improved over the last few years but emphasizes that there is still some room for improvement.
