Why Don't God's Promises Work the Same for Everyone?

Have you ever stood on a promise from God and wondered why nothing changed?

Pastor Roderick Webster opens Hebrews 11:17-19 in this episode of Words From The Word to answer a question many believers quietly carry: why do God's promises seem to work for some and not others?

The answer isn't in the promise — it's in the faith behind it. Using Abraham's ultimate test and practical scripture from Mark 4, Matthew 6 and 17, and 1 Corinthians 10:13, Pastor Webster shows that faith has measurable degrees, that God tests each person only to the level they can bear, and that faith grows the more it is trusted. This is an encouraging word for anyone whose faith feels small right now.
