It is 1855, Kansas is a new territory of the United States, whether or not it will join the Union as a free state or a slave state is up in the air. With this backdrop, two men have a property dispute in Hickory Point, Kansas which leads to bloodshed, and the first domino to fall in what would become a 10 year blood feud leading up to the Civil War has fallen.
