In this episode of The Quo-Cast, Jamie Dyer takes a look at two upcoming vinyl releases from Demon Music. Following on from the successful general release of the first night of the Glasgow Apollo gigs from October 1976, Demon Music are issuing the second and third nights on vinyl for the first time.The 28th of October 1976 is presented on vivid yellow vinyl, and features the same cover art as the original album release of 1977. The 29th of October 1976 is pressed on "nightshade purple" vinyl.
This is an opportunity to hear two gigs from the Frantic Four lineup of Quo, performed shortly after the release of their chart-topping album Blue for You.Jamie gives his thoughts on the release, including the story of how we got here, sound quality and its importance in the world of Quo. The two releases will be issued on the 28th of August 2026.
