What realistic minimalism actually is has almost nothing to do with stark white rooms and empty shelves. I own two TVs, a full board game collection, and a waffle maker that does exactly one thing, and I've practiced this lifestyle for the better part of a decade.

This episode is the wide view of the whole philosophy, the realistic version built for a family of five with a toddler and a dog. If you've ever thought minimalism sounded nice but figured it was for people without kids, hobbies, or a real budget, this one was made for you.

I adopted a practical minimalist lifestyle during one of the hardest seasons of my life, and it has given me more time, energy, and mental capacity than anything else I've tried. Kind of crazy how much your space can change things.
