Special Conditions 206: 30th Anniversary Fever
We recorded this one right before the 30th Anniversary set dropped… and then Justin took forever to edit it. So now the set is out, the hype is real, and some of our predictions may already be getting tested.
Adam and Justin catch up on what they’ve been doing lately, then get into the 30th Anniversary TCG set, the new artwork, the Lugia and Charizard cards, preorders, and whether any of this product is actually going to be easy to find.
We also look ahead at the 2026–2027 competitive season and ask a question we’ve been asking ourselves a lot lately: are we actually going to have time to compete again, or are we mostly collectors now?
Adam’s Vending Corner is back too, with a recap of his first time vending at Ranger City, what worked, what didn’t, and what he’s learning from doing more and more shows.
Plus, Justin brings a surprise article, we ramble about Pokémon for a while, and try to figure out what comes next.
Listener question:Are you collecting the 30th Anniversary set, playing it, or both? And what card are you chasing?
