Surfing meets science fiction as Tyler Breuer welcomes cartoonist Mindy Indy (Melinda Steffen), creator of AER HEAD. From meeting at Rockaway’s Rockstock to sending surfers to Mars, they explore surfing’s history in comics, Mindy’s influences—from Sonic to manga and underground comics—and her experience assisting Kyle Baker on Deadpool.

Mindy introduces her futuristic world of flying surfboards and dream premonitions, shares the realities of independent publishing, and discusses her Kickstarter ambitions for issue three and a collected paperback.
