Spandana Palaypu was only 20 years old when she started her social startup, ZoEasy. Having moved from India to Dubai at 6 years old, she experienced the richness of cultural diversity first-hand. However, she soon realized it was not the same for everyone. Inspired by the heart-wrenching stories of blue-collar workers she met in the UAE, she decided to build a business that supports workers to find fair employment opportunities. She was featured on Forbes 30 under 30, Forbes 50 Startups, and is a recipient of the Duke of Edinburgh Award, and her business recently won Expo Live’s Innovation Impact Program. In this episode 33, Spandana talks about gaining courage to build a business to change the world, and spills the beans on the tactics and mindset that allowed her to take seemingly impossible chances. Gear up to get inspired.
