The semantic web is an unrealized vision for the World Wide Web cooked up by the web's creator Tim Berners-Lee. The semantic web is the web that allows computers to process information with context without the need for human intervention. But it's hard to talk about semantic details without talking about some of the history of the web. That is what this episode is all about, the history of HTTP, HTML and its use of the internet to create the World Wide Web.
