In Matthew 13, Jesus describes the Kingdom of Heaven as yeast, something small that works its way through the whole batch of dough. But what does it mean for us to be yeast today? In this episode, I explore how mission is not about creating more projects for churches to consume, but about getting into the life of our communities, changing the culture from within and enabling something much bigger to grow. Perhaps our calling is not simply to build the Kingdom, but to become the yeast that helps it spread.
