Fifteen-year-old Sophie Reeder vanished in the early hours of May 20, 2017. In her bedroom, a candle was still burning. Three hundred dollars was left behind. On her calendar, one date had been marked with a mysterious “X.”
Surveillance cameras captured Sophie walking alone along Davie Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Hours later, her phone went silent at a nearby apartment complex and Sophie was never seen again.
Anyone with information about Sophie’s disappearance is asked to call the Fort Lauderdale Police Department at 954-828-5700.
There is a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to her recovery.
