Today, we're doing things differently; we're dissecting the Mugler FW26 fashion show.
If you know me then you'll know I love a deep dive, and in a world where everything can be criticised or vilified within a matter of seconds, I thought it was time to start doing deep dives into some of my favourite fashion collections.
So, in this episode, we've got interviews with the Mugler key makeup artist, Karine Westerlund; the key hairstylist Anthony Turner and sound designer Theo Teardo as well as a quick chat with Mugler's Creative Director Miguel Castro Freitas.
On top of those interviews we're also going to break down this collection piece by piece in an effort to answer the questions that actually matter, such as, did creative director Miguel Castro Freitas accomplish what he set out to do and did the collection genuinely evolve the house's identity, or was it simply recycling old ideas with a new press release?
