Lana Blocker is the owner/operator of Broadway Skateland, a rollerskating rink in Mesquite, TX. Originally opened by her grandfather in 1961, it remains a family owned, historic, and active rollerskating rink. Lana shares the story of how the rink was opened and passed down through the family, along with the joys and struggles of operating a historic business that has become an icon in the North Texas rollerskating community.
