The threat to the 80-100-year old banyans of the Hyderabad-Bijapur road galvanised the Nature Lovers of Hyderabad to find a sustainable solution to development projects. They are a group of people from diverse backgrounds who are deeply concerned about trees and the ecosystems they support. They hope this experience can inform a wider cause: impacting state and national policy towards trees and other forms of nature.
