Born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey, JP Caruzzo began his career after his move to Atlanta, following a brief pursuit of a football career.
With no interest initially, JP credits his early love of music to his younger cousin Loot, who ultimately inspired him to start writing after collaborating on a song together.
