The man who has been entrusted with rolling the teleprompter for President Trump’s speeches for the past decade, is now on paid administrative leave, as authorities investigate several bets he made on prediction markets. Gabriel Perez is accused of making bets on specific words showing up in the President’s speeches, winning as much as $100,000 from Kalshi. The prediction market claims he even withdrew certain bets he made if Trump skipped over lines in his speeches! Trump calling the situation “deeply unfortunate and frankly, a disgrace.”
