Fr. Joseph meditates on the concept of love and explains that there are 4 levels of love, according to St. Bernard of Clairvaux.

The 4 levels are:

  • Loving oneself for the sake of oneself
  • Loving God because of His providence
  • Loving God for God’s sake
  • Loving oneself for God’s sake
