In this episode, we explore the life of Andrew, one of Jesus’ first disciples, and a man whose quiet faith had an extraordinary impact. Although Andrew is not mentioned as often as some of the other apostles, a consistent pattern appears throughout the Gospels: Andrew was always bringing people to Jesus.
After hearing John the Baptist identify Jesus as the Messiah, Andrew followed Jesus and then immediately went to find his brother, Simon Peter, saying, “We have found the Messiah.” Andrew’s first recorded act was introducing someone else to Jesus—a moment that would ultimately influence the ministry of Peter and the growth of the early church.
