Ralph Macchio began editing Marvel's black-and-white magazine line in 1976 and remained with the company until his retirement 35 years later. Along the way, he edited Frank Miller's Daredevil, shepherded the early years of the original Ultimate line, and somehow managed to bring the seemingly endless Spider-Man Clone Saga to a conclusion.
