Their commission and digital programs serve those who are interested in contemporary music but are limited in their capacity to engage in the community, due to limited funds or access to large or specialty instruments. Most of our conversation centers on accessibility and diversity within the music world, which is a huge part of Melanie's work, and which Black Swamp is proud to help support through the New Works Project.
