A $25 IBM Selectric discovered at an estate sale launched Trent Coursey into the fascinating world of vintage typewriters. Nearly 50 machines later, Trent joins co-hosts David and Everitto to talk about collecting, restoration, the thrill of the hunt and the stories hidden inside these remarkable machines.
He also shares his thoughts on preserving typewriter history and repair knowledge, his dream of creating a space where people can experience the machines firsthand, and how joining Austin Typewriter, Ink. helped him “find his people.”
