* Spiritual truth cannot be known by inductive reasoning (aroha-vāda) only by deductive reasoning (avaroha-vāda) from scriptural revelation recorded by the Self-realized Sages.
* oṁ ajñāna-timirāndhasya jñānāñjana-śalākayā cakṣur unmīlitaṁ yena tasmai śrī-gurave namaḥ ”I was born in the darkness of ignorance, and my enlightened spiritual master opened my eyes with the torchlight of his realization. Therefore I offer my respectful obeisances unto him."
