This week, we're joined by Dr. Wilson Liao as he as he explores emerging science, clinical challenges, and integrative care strategies to bridge the gap between research and practice in psoriasis management. Dr. Wilson Liao is Professor of Dermatology and Director of the Psoriasis Center at the University of California San Francisco. Dr. Liao is a dermatologist with expertise in biologic therapy and phototherapy and human geneticist who has contributed to the identification of over 60 psoriasis susceptibility genes. He has led numerous genetic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and microbiome studies in psoriasis. Dr. Liao's group has also investigated the impact of environmental factors on psoriasis, including diet, stress, exercise, sleep, and pollution. He currently serves as a member of the National Psoriasis Foundation Medical Board and Scientific Advisory Committee.
