The Toronto Raptors have been mocked to trade RJ Barrett 1000 times over the past year. The numbers say they're wrong.
Bleacher Report floated a deal sending RJ to Detroit for Ron Holland and picks, and the "smart" take is that Toronto should cash out before his contract runs out. So I pulled the cap sheet, the shooting splits and the advanced numbers people use to make that case. Here's why trading RJ in Kawhi Leonard's window would be one of the worst moves this front office could make.
Would you trade RJ for Holland and picks? Let me know in the comments.
