Acts 7 is the longest chapter in the book of Acts filled with faith, bold obedience, and martyrdom. It is not just a recitation of church history for the nation of Israel and the Jewish people, but Stephen is also refuting the Jewish leaders' indictments against him. Stephen, filled with the Holy Spirit, delivers a fiery speech. He not only recounts the nations history, but he challenges the religious establishment ultimately ending in Stephen becoming the first christian martyr.
