Tonight wasn't as good for the New York Mets, as they fell to the Milwaukee Brewers in the middle game of this series, 8-1.
Mets starter Robert Stock had a solid first inning but six straight hits against him in the 2nd added up for the Brewers first four runs of the game. Stock allowed another three runs in the 4th before his day was done.
Offensively, the Mets had 9 hits and left 9 men on base against a Brewers pitching staff that was thrusted right into the mix after Dustin May took the first pitch of the game off of his back and left with an injury.
