Brazilian A Course in Miracles teacher Jeane Mendes talks about Revelation, Light, and Forgiveness with David Hoffmeister

In this deeply moving episode, David Hoffmeister sits down with Brazilian A Course in Miracles teacher Jeane Mendes to share their amazing and profound encounters with the divine. Together, they explore what it means to experience true revelation and how to navigate the return to the physical world after witnessing pure light.  

During the conversation, Jeane recounts her extraordinary journey, explaining how she was lying in bed, exhausted from work, and seeking help from Jesus and Mother Mary when she heard the loving voice of God. She explains that this voice gently asked if she would let go of her worldly attachments before she stepped fully into an immensely loving light where she felt all minds were present within her.  

Similarly, David shares his mystical experiences in Kentucky, detailing a moment deep in the woods where he meditated while gazing into a friend's eyes. He describes how his visual perception of the physical world flattened out like a painting before bright light streamed through his friend's silhouette, eventually causing the physical world to disappear entirely into an unspeakable experience of pure light and love.  

Beyond the moments of revelation, the two teachers discuss the sudden relapses into unconscious guilt or deep sadness that can often follow when returning to the ego's thought system. To navigate this reentry, they provide insights on using forgiveness and trust in the Holy Spirit to release worldly attachments. By letting go of the need to control finances, diets, or relationships, they explain how one can live freely in the world without experiencing this spiritual surrender as a sacrifice.
