When one starts confronting their sexual relationship, it’s common to start deconstructing and evolving their beliefs around a lot of other things too. Because spirituality and sexuality are deeply connected, when we deal with the challenges in our sexual relationships, the theology we were brought up in is usually poked at and oftentimes unravels as well. This is very normal and I’m happy to share this conversation I had with David Hayward (also known as the Naked Pastor) where we navigate the unraveling many of us go through concerning religion and sexuality. His art has been so helpful for me as I reflect on different areas of my life.
