Director Chance Calloway grew up with a pastor for a father. As a gay man, he had to learn how to navigate through a church community that ultimately taught that who he was and who he loved was a sin. But still, he remains strong in his faith for God and continues to use his platform to tell the stories of the marginalized who have gone through similar experiences.
