Manhattan Edit Workshop has helped aspiring editors turn their passion into successful careers in post-production. In this special panel discussion, MEWShop alumna Elle Nava shares her experience in the Art of Editing program and discusses how the training, mentorship, and industry connections prepared them for careers in documentary, commercial, and narrative editing.
The conversation also explores the evolving post-production landscape, including emerging technologies, changing workflows, and the creative and technical skills editors need to succeed in today's film, television, and digital media industries. Whether you're just starting your editing journey or looking to take your career to the next level, this episode offers valuable advice from professionals who have been there.
Manhattan Edit Workshop is a New York Film Editing School offering a full range of basic to advanced training courses, from the Avid, Autodesk, Assimilate, Blackmagic and Apple products to the complete suite of Adobe applications.
Manhattan Edit Workshop's mission is to provide the highest quality education for filmmakers and editors. Focusing on both the art and technology inherent to our craft. We foster a "learn by doing" approach in an atmosphere where mistakes are encouraged as part of the process and the only "silly" question is the one that isn't asked.
