Marriage is spiritual according to God’s design and you are expected to prepare spiritually so you don’t become a casualty of ill marriage.
The spiritual controls the physical. Whatever battle you lost spiritually have been lost physically. so vice versa.
*Picking/accepting the right spouse is spiritual*.
*Getting to know your to be spouse is spiritual* (because many pretend to be nice until you marry them.).
