Starring Lára Jóhanna Jónsdóttir as Jóhanna, it tells the story of a single mother who's forced to go back to her home island of Flatey to tie up her late father's estate in the early 1970s. There, she encounters prejudice, becomes prime suspect in a murder case and tries to work out an ancient what her linguist professor had been working on prior to his death.
