In this episode, Dr. David Hanscom continues his discussion with Ryan Cedermark, a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner. He explains his treatment approach and emphasizes the importance of addressing underlying physiology rather than just treating symptoms, noting that true healing comes from the body's natural capacity when given the right conditions. He discusses how his team implemented a new approach focused on safety physiology and outlines the concept of "walking into pain" as a therapeutic approach and shares how it helps patients build nervous system resilience through small wins and marginal gains.
