Welcome to episode 86 of The Ski Instructor Podcast after a summer break and a long hot summer here in Switzerland.

This week, I revise my early episode chat with Joe Beer who left the ski teaching world around covid and Brexit time to return to the UK to pursue life in the music world.

How was always playing music whilst he was skiing but we talk about the freedom of skiing and how he thinks skiing has changed in recent times, a serious eye injury that lost the sight in one of his eyes, how to make a living in the music industry and teaching skiing vs teaching music.

This is a podcast I've wanted to make for a long time and I have a couple of other 'life afters' which I want to do which I think make for interesting stories.
