eam USA won the 2026 IPRF Centerfire World Championship, and Americans won all seven individual divisions. But the title isn't the whole story. Tyler Hughes, Chief Instructor at Max Ordinate and a former Marine Scout Sniper, breaks down the results from the world's top precision rifle match and what they mean for your own shooting.

THE TITLE ISN'T THE WHOLE STORY
- The top score of the entire match didn't come from Open. Keith Rudasill shot 192 in Factory.
- Kahl Harmon won Mil/LEO with 191, the same score as Open champion Austin Buschman. Harmon was tied with Hunter Zwiers at 93 at halftime, then shot 98 of 100 in the second half.
- Two of the top three scores in the combined standings came from shooters outside Open.
- Buschman cleaned 14 of 20 stages, the most in the field. PrecisionRifleBlog credits him with the 2022 and 2024 Worlds titles as well.
- Luke McKennie (Australia) and Jeff Guerry (USA) both shot 185. McKennie took Open bronze on the tie-breaker stages.
- At halftime, Joe Pask (UK) was tied for the Open lead with Buschman and Morgun King. PrecisionRifleBlog's prediction model had ranked Pask 14th in Open before the match. He finished second.
- Americans took 16 of the 21 individual medals. The other five went to the UK, Australia, South Africa, Norway and Canada.
