In Mexico during a time of great social and political change, divorcee-to-be Luisa joins Tenoch and Julio for a road trip to an idyllic beach the ribald teens made up literally the day before. Accompanied by an omniscient narrator, the trio vibe (and bang) their way across the desert, but they’re not really ready for what they learn about each other… or themselves.
