Welcome to the first installment of An Evening With My Discord Mods, a special series of The Wildcard Protocol where we step away from the usual conversations to shine a spotlight on the people helping build The Wildcard HQ!
Kicking things off is a familiar voice and longtime friend, Jovany, better known as Battousai.
In this episode, we go beyond the username to discover the person behind it. From his competitive love of sports and passion for anime to his growing appreciation for books, storytelling, and cinema, Jovany shares the interests and experiences that have shaped who he is today.
We also explore how fictional stories can influence our real lives, the importance of meaningful conversations, personal growth, and what it means to create an online community where people can genuinely connect.
And because this is still The Wildcard Protocol, we couldn't end the conversation without diving into the nerd culture we love! We discuss the future of James Gunn's DC Universe, our thoughts on Superman, Supergirl, Lanterns, and what we're hoping to see next from DC.
This episode is about more than introducing a moderator. It's about celebrating individuality, friendship, shared passions, and the people who make a community worth being part of.
So whether you're already part of The Wildcard HQ or you're just getting to know us, pull up a chair and enjoy an evening with Jovany (Battousai)!
