The (Brief) Case of Polly (1989)

Hey there, Cassettes! As we continue with June Tunes, we thought we might do a short episode on a classic made-for-TV musical from 1989: Polly! This film was an episode of The Magical World of Disney and it truly made a lasting impression on fans, despite the fact that Disney has not made it readily available. It's a musical adaptation of the novel Pollyanna and is set in Alabama in 1955.  Here is a link to the film on YouTube if you'd like to give it a watch!!
