We reflect on the news that former brewing boss Simon Cox, having been an active member in a number of British racing's many stakeholder groups, has been appointed new independent non-executive Chair of the BHA. Tom and Jane then discuss the current AMO / David Egan situation in response to yesterday's podcast. Eva O'Neill has been busy and talks to Alan King who announced at last night's TBA National Hunt Breeders' awards that Edwardstone was to retire and we also hear from Overbury boss Simon Sweeting who won the NH breeders award at the event. We hear from Toby Lawes and from Eva with George Boughey ahead of Bow Echo's Sussex Stakes run next week. Tom and Jane give their views on a stellar looking renewal of the King George and Jane suggests prize money is the reason for such an International field. We give our views on the Jamie Insole and Dr Richard Newland split and also hear from Andrea Ryan, the CEO of Treo Eile, about a new collabortaion with Tattersalls.
