Leaving Harald Snow behind with the Silent Sisters, Dagon and Rodrik have spied two groups of warriors preparing for violent battle. As combat draws near, Rodrik and Dagon devise a cunning plan to turn the tables and ambush the ambushers. But as they plot, a savage danger lurks beneath the stagnant waters of the Hag’s Mire.
