First, Sam Vecenie (Game Theory Podcast, The Athletic) makes his return! The guys participate in a Rookie Intrigue draft, each selecting the five players they're most intrigued by for this upcoming season.

On the WNBA side, the guys break down an electric game between the Las Vegas Aces and the Indiana Fever and talk through some of the broader lessons to take away. From there, they briefly check in on the streaking Mystics and the reeling Wings, evaluate the Team USA World Cup roster, and salute Betnijah Laney-Hamilton's run in New York.
