Merritt is a quantum physicist with degrees from Harvard University and the University of Oxford, as well as a professional ballet dancer for the Zurich Ballet, Boston Ballet, amongst others. She was awarded Forbes 30 under 30, and challenges the stereotypes for women in STEM to pave a new career path for herself. She is redefining what's possible for art, technology and the humanities by fusing the performing arts with robots.
